  explore the techniques of exploratory writing\, an incredibly important a
 nd helpful tool to prevent you from getting stuck or getting unstuck if yo

 iting advice often chases certainty: decide the stakes\, plan out story be
 ats\, do worldbuilding. People say "write what you know\," but writing is 
 also about discovering that you don't know as much as you thought you did.
 \n\n\n \n\n\nThis workshop will introduce a different way to think about 
 writing: as a way to better understand the world\, whether you're working 
 on a memoir\, a mystery or speculative fiction. You will find out how to p
 ower your writing with questions\, uncertainty\, and the spirit of explora
 tion. And you'll learn how to get started when you don't have all the answ
